Ola, and hello its me Sean bringing down the latest news from my vacation in Florida. Well First I left on Thursdays around 2am and instead of flying like I should have I hitched a ride with some of my Capoeira buds. We drove from Washington DC all the way down to Florida witch was 19 to 20 hours long! And it was very tiring being packed inside of a small mini van with eight people! But at last I arrived in Florida around 8 or 9pm on Thursday.
Me and two of my friends john and Antonio woke up around 7am to get up and head outside to go on the beach and watch the clear blue waves! It was really fun, we even tried to play a little bit of Capoeira while on the beach but we kept flinging sand in each others eyes and mouths, hahaha. After that we headed back into the motel and chow down on some food, rested a bit, and went to down to the Capoeira Malês Work shop that was hosted by Professora Nego and Mestre Lua. It was really hot in Professora tigresa Academy because it was so small an it was packed with a lot of people! After the work shop was over there was a open Roda and I played So much, it was really COOL! Then After the open Roda we had a Samba De Roda, the music was great thanks to all the Mestre’s and Prosessors composing it, and I danced with a lot of pretty women!
On Saturday they had the first annual Womens encounter Hosted by Professor Tigresa witch was only for all the beautiful women! So me and my guy friends just chilled at the beach and played some Beach Soccer. After the womens encounted we all headed down to the capoeira center and participated in a Samba Work shop hosted by Pantera who is Contra Mestre Lua’s wife, it was a lot of fun and the energy was wonderful and full of AXE! to close the Samba Work shop the Batizado Began, and it was really nice to see all the new students get baptized into the world of capoeira and become Capoeiristas! Here are a few pics of me and my friends while on the beach.
The sun was in my eyes!
Me and my friend belle!
The Professor group Shot! And if you look down the lower right Conner you can see Mestre Lua.

On Friday march 6, I won the school talent show, giving a Capoeira demonstration with my teacher Mr. Jones. I received a 100 dollar gift card as my reward and I will save that money to head down to Fort Lauderdale where Professora Tigresa of capoeira Males will host a batizado. I’m so excited to go this Event it makes me so happy!!
Hey EVERYBODY!! Its me Sean dropping in and giving you the latest news on my mini adventures at Katuscon 15 09. First I will like to give a brief summary about what katuscon is and what is for. Okay like all conventions katuscon is a Anime con for Anime fan Lovers to come, and meet new people, and enjoy what they love, and that is of course is JAPANESE ANIME. They have Panels where you can talk about different Animes and they sometimes have guest appearances by Japaneses voice actors or the English Dub overs. katsucon also have special musical guest from the land of the rising sun known as JAPAN! This years Musical guest was ‘Aural Vampire’, a Japanese techno, snthypop and dark wave musical group. The members of the group are as listed: Exo chika and Raveman.
This years con was supa’ awesome, the cosplayers did a good job on he costumes they made or bought, they look pretty descent so congrats to all you cosplayers for doing a good job! The rave was pretty exciting too, me and my friends danced until we could not dance no more( I am still a little tired from the rave but I’ll recover..hahaha.) Stay tunned for the upcoming Akiba fest and sakura matusuri(Cherry blossom festival). Peace out ^_^V. Oh and don’t for get to check out my new photos om Flickr.com. Also here is a video of me and my friends called Anime jackass where we do all things outrageous and crazy .
Hey what’s up everyone? it is me Sean giving everybody an update on whats going on for my up coming weekend. First I will like to promote the fund raising party that Capoeira male’s is hosting in February Friday the 13. The party will be located at the Uptown Tavern, the address is 3433 Connecticut Ave NW #1 in Washington DC near the Cleveland park area. The price for one person is $7 and $10 for 2 people. The proceeds that we make from the party goes straight to the mats we are paying for. So that it will be more comfortable when it comes to performing acrobats. Unfortunately I will not be able to go to the fund raising because I will be attending an Anime convention with my friends and we planned to go before the fund raising party was thought of. stay tuned for my latest adventures!
hey it is me Swone aka Sean bringing in the latest news, but first off I will like to apologize for my long absence and not posting any new material. Well heres whats going down this weekend and hopefully I might be able to attend the Maculele & Forro Workshops with Mao Branca’s Daughter.
My winter break was uneventful for the first half, but it did get a little fun during the last two days of it. I did go to the movies with a couple of my friends to see The Spirit” and that was a cool action packed movie to watch. On Saturday I went to the Capoeira Academy and Morcego(my instructor) decided to go trough all the fundamental base moves of Capoeira for about three hours and everyone was so tired and our bodies were so soar. So me, Adrianna, Ginga(Jeff), Eric, Tyre, And Espi(Jen) chose to grab something to eat and we went to the restaurant called “Bus Boys”. So after we ate me an my other friend Tyre were gong to go to the Rockville gym and practice some of our Capoeira acrobats, but Morcego canceled so instead of going home we just went to his house and listen to some of his rants about Myspace , facebook and all other online community sites. We did watch a few capoeira videos at his house. So at we hit Morcego’s house we went to Virgina to go meet back up with Adrianna, and her two friends from New york Jeff and Erick who are apart of Capoeira Guerreiros group. We all played the game taboo and it was Capoeira Males Vs Capoeira Guerreiros. In the end me and Tyre ended up crashing at her place and on Sunday morning She fixed a Columbian style breakfast that was so delicious and nutritious. So when 12:00pm came we all headed down to the Capoeira center for the first Sunday Roda of the month and the Year. It was good Energy and everybody ha so much fun, we laughed we talked and played. We even had a Samba Roda and a Maculele Roda. All the fun ended when I came back to school. T_T.
Hey its me Swone AKA Sean reporting the lattes news from my mini adventures. On Friday November 21 me and my Capoerira instructor Morecgo headed up north to New jersey. There in New Jersey I met with a familiar face known as David, he attended my first Baitzado and he was cool with me staying at his house even though it was a bit unexpected. I hanged out with David at his Capoeira school and helped him and Georgie make Corda’s for the new batch of graduating students but I tangled a few because most of them were made of yarn. On Saturday We met up with morecgo again and we headed down to Connecticut where the Batizado was at. Hosted By Professor Fabiono. The Baitzado was so much fun. We had four Roda’s and a Samba Roda (pronounced Horda which means circle ).
